This hostel has the best location and is in the heart of everything. Ashort walk to the beach and a short walk to the ferry terminal reefhq city and PUBS! THis place is one of if not the cleanest hostel i stayed in new beds and new renovations. All your linen is on the bed and kitchen has all that you need. Has asmall internet cafe. Also lots of places to just sit and chill out. Great hostel keep up the excellent work guys.

The Reef Lodge is in the perfect spot in Townsville, steps away from several pubs and eateries on Flinders St., a block from the strand and the Flinders Mall. It's clean and quiet, the owners are friendly and helpful, you can trade books and get on the internet, or buy coffee and food at the little connected cafe, or cook your own in the large, clean kitchen. And for us slightly older folks, the beds are so nice and new our backs don't even hurt in the morning. This is definitely the place to stay in Townsville.

This hostel has been recently renovated (well mostly) and has new owners. They very freindly and the place is very clean and quiet. There also an ---Internet Cafe'--- just opened up which serve really nice and also cheap meals an great coffee. The hostel is situated in centre of city with only about 250 m from ferry terminal and Ozbus drop off. Which was good cause I not have far to walk. 3 min walk to beach and the beds are comfy steel and new.

Sensational hostel with great owners - Dean & Simone you really make a girl feel at home!!! The rooms are sparkling clean, with new mattresses & sheets and cover. You could have Tea & Coffee in your room & the rooms are all airconditioned too! The place has a really relaxed feel to it & I'll be telling all my friends to stay here for sure!

Found the owner to be very friendly & helpful.The rooms were clean & had tea making facilities & a fridge.The beds were comfortable & the kitchen facilities pretty good. You could do alot worst than staying here!

This hostel was really nice. It was clean and tidy. The kitchen facilities were spotless. It is situated in a brilliant place, right across the road from a irish pub that does $6 jugs of beer and $6 meals which are lovely and tasty. The rooms are really nice they include a toaster, fridge, kettle and towels amazing for $38 for a double room. I definetly recommend it!!

Overall this would have to be the best hostel I say in while on my trip. A nice place and nice people to talk to Lots of place to sit and the Possum you can feed are freindly and the big flying bat in the tree was really cool. It was a short walk to every thing we wanted to do about 5 or 10 minutes. This place is airconditioned and the beds are made for you and are fresh and clean. thanks Tony W.
