Nothing really special about it, but nothing too much to worry about either.

When I was there it was chock-a-block with groups, which didn´t create the right sort of vibe. Given I was only there about 6 hours a day, it didn´t really matter.

The breakfast was bland, and to start charging extra for things like orange juice is just a bit too tightass for my liking.

When you first arrive, getting there will be a bit of a challenge. Your best bet is Westbahnhof, and then get set for a decent walk. Once you´re settled, the 48A bus takes you straight into the city.

Watch out for the laundry though. Took ages to wash and dry, and the colours ran everywhere and the clothes were still damp.

Overall, a decent place in a sensational city.

By far one of the nicest (and safest) hostels I stayed in on my trip. All of the rooms have electronic keys to the doors and a shower. Washrooms are across the hall and everything is SO CLEAN. This hostel seems very popular and it is a good idea to reserve in advance... many people could not secure more than one night at the hostel, if that.

Right on the route of the 48A bus and within a short walking distance of the U Bahn, you are minutes from the town centre.

Breakfast is in the main hostel building between 7-9 am... go a little bit after 8 to avoid the many different school groups that seem to stay here. They also serve a dinner (5 euros) that others said was quite good.

Less of a social hostel than some of the others with not a lot going on in the common area in the evenings. Befriend your room mates for party opportunities.
