the people who work at boomerang hostel are by far the nicest of any other hostel ive stayed at! this hostel is clean and cozy when u walk into reception u feel as if you are in someone's living room. its small but it pretty easy to find and u wont find friendlier service. also, beer 1 euro a bottle during happy hour which i think is about 7:30 or 8.

The boomerang hostel is easy to locate (the owner picked us up from the station!), and is very clean compared to other hostels I stayed in. It's so close to the main streets and sights, and everyone was so friendly who worked/stayed there. Since it's newly renovated, it has a unique style and great, cheap breakfasts. I had such a fab time there, thank you so much Gee!! It's really a wonderful place to relax and not worry about being kicked out in the middle of the day.

Not far from the center of town, the Boomerang is the perfect place to stay if you are planning to visit Antwerp. We found the place to be clean, spacious and a great place to kick back and relax in, after being in so many hostels that insist that you are up and out by 10am.The staff are really friendly and welcoming and treat you not just as a customer but as a friend.Guy's 200 games are sure to keep you entertained if the weather turns bad and Stew is the master chef - cooking the best breakfasts you'll ever eat!The Boomerang is THE place to stay. Thanks guys for a wonderful time in Antwerp!!

The Boomerang was recommended to us by a couple of other Aussie backpackers - perfect choice! Guy and Stewart felt more like family than proprietors - just like staying with old friends. The rooms are fresh, bright and spacious and the bathrooms were fine. The building's gorgeous and we appreciated the space and no-worries attitude after weeks of fairly institutionalised hostelling. The price was the best in Europe (really) and I'd recommend that you have one breakfast just to feel at home, especially if you're on the bread-and-jam diet like we were! Make sure you get to know Guy and Stew and take the time just to sit and play one of the 200 games Guy bought for us. Appreciate the radio too - 'Nostalgi' is the best! Have a great time in Antwerp and keep out of the diamond district - see the Cathedral etc.

After a 15-minute walk from the station we arrived at the hostel and we were impressed by the building's exterior, really very beautiful. Taken in consideration that the temperature was at least 30C, the chamber was nice and cool. The chamber itself was huge and had a nice view. We would recommend staying there to all!!!

The hostel was under renovation when we went, which is why I rated it as 4-star rather than 5. I think they had moved, too, so it might be at a different address than the one listed right now. But the building is great! Super high ceilings, clean, and there is no curfew. The front desk guy was the friendliest, too. The cost for this hostel was the cheapest among all the other hostels we had stayed at throughout Europe. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who visits Antwerp. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the city center, but it's worth it.

We were to only stay here one night. The friendlyness convinced us to stay a second. It was clean and had as much character as Brussels. This is a place to sit and unwind at the end of the day sharing travel stories with other travellers. Didnt know a thing qbout Antwerpe before we got here Came here looking for a bed and left here knowing about the place. When this place is finished it will put Antwerpe on the travellers map. Safe and friendly stay.
