This hostel is in an amazing location, which makes up for some of its limitations. If you are essentially looking for a place to store your bag in the day, a place to rest your head at night, and a convenient location, this is the place for you. It is definitely not the cleanest hostel I've ever been to (wear sandals in the showers), but it definitely makes you get out and explore the city! If you prefer a comfortable cozy place, and don't mind the 20 minute commute, head over to the Ravnice. I went for the convenience factor and didn't regret it.

Stayed here. It was terrible. Even after reading the great book by Rebecca Patrick where she talks about her stay there, I still stayed there. Terrible beyond words. Dirty, grimy, unfriendly staffI felt like my belongings were completely unsafe, too.DONT DO IT! Stay at Ravnice

It's not the best hostel in the world, but not the worst either. Tatty around the edges, but the location is first class. Even if you do get the worlds loudest snoring man next door. Absolutely fine

Ive backpacked around europe before, and stayed in many hostels, but none as bad as this. I dont expect it to be well maintained (Im only paying 8 pounds), but I dont expect to feel like im a pest they cant get rid of. As soon as I arrived I left to see the city, as soon as I got back I left to see what bug europe had to say. Ill probably try to stay out all night.

truly one of the worst hostels in the world...the staff was beyond even rude and absolutely loathe the fact that you are there...the place is extremely unsanitary...at 9:oo am a matronly croatian lady is sent to the room to scream at all the backpackers and throw them out as checkout time is 9:00 am - truly absolute hell....stay in ravnice - its far away but a nice hostel....

The location is very convenient BUT there are no lockers, the elevator doesn't work very well, there are no curtains in the shower, the place is dirty, I couln't close the window, there is only one key for the entire 6-bed room...I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Convenient if you have to catch an early train, but that is all!

it's fine, the staff all spoke english and were friendly. it's in a great location. it's a bit tatty on the inside, but what do you expect for 73kn per night? if you think your shit doesn't stink you won't like it, but otherwise you'll find it perfectly adequate.

This hostel is in a convenient location, but that's about the only redeeming quality. I totally agree with the person who scrawled in ink on the wood above my bunk: "THIS IS THE WORST HO[S]TEL I HAVE EVERY STAYED IN."
