I stayed here in Feb. 2002 and found it to be quite accomadating. The dorm room is simply an old warehouse with bunk beds stacked in it but it is not nearly as bad as it seems. The staff was incredibly friendly and were always eager to help out. Plus, the common room / lounge is a great hang out spot and a good way to meet some of the other backpackers. They even had a Danish version of the boardgame Risk, which thrilled the hell out of my friends and me. Overall, a nice hostel with a good location. Recommended.

This hostel was the worst hostel I stayed in, throughout my travels in Europe. The beds were three-tiered, corridors between these beds were about 1.2 metres apart. (After putting your bagpacks and stuff by the side of the bed as there were not enough lockers, there was hardly space to move!!) Because there weren't enough lockers and there were so many people moving around all the time (at least 50 beds in that one room), you can imagine how poor the security is. On top of that, the hostel do not supply lights at all in the dorm area, which further adds to the security problem.

After being in very good hostels in the rest of Europe, this was very disappointing, it´s really a small place with lots and lots of beds, so there´s not place for anything else (not enough lockers either). Although the showers are warm, they´re simply not enough, and the same goes for the toilets, on the other hand, being so crammed makes this place a great spot for meeting people.

I didn´t like the breakfast either, I felt totally ripped-off by it.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't have a lot of respect for places that try to increase their take by cramming you in. The dorm sleeps what seems like hundreds, in bunks three high. - With only a few showers and toilets between the lot of you. The lobby is deceptively cool looking, but the dorm feels a bit like a prison camp and was absolutely freezing last night - hate to think how it would be in winter. (the chronic snorers didn't help matters!) Showers were nice and hot though.

I stayed here for 3 weeks during my studies. Not an ideal place to study from, but a fantastic place to stay if your passing through.

I felt welcome from both the staff and those just passing through. No dout that if I go here again I will be paying the old place a visit. I will warn you though it is a shit to find!

The set out of the hostel is ok as far as youth hostels go. Their is an area set aside for recreation an eating with a pool table, bar and Internet portal. Their is one large dorm, so it is not so private and a bit noisey at times, which sleeps about 60 and a couple of smaller dorms which sleep about 6-8.

Their are two bus routes running into the city. The staff might tell you to get the number 8 but I found the number 16 (or was it the 14?) was better.
