Location, staff and breakfast in the hostel were OK. Room was bad, in fact I haven't had a room like this in any hostel in the world. I don't no the London-hostels standard (I stayed only once in a college room in summer for 20 pounds which was very good) but the room was dark, very small and had a lot of fungi and gravity on the wall. Hopefully only this room (nr. 2) is that bad. Showers were clean, but the toilet was very dirty on Saturday evening and stayed that way until we checked out on Monday.

Close to the Queensway station I believe off the Northern Line(don't remember). Nice place to sleep, but be warned this is also co-ed rooms, so don't be alarmed to wake seeing a member of the opposite sex in the next bunk. Place is very small on a strip with other hotels and hostels. they play the radio in the front room at a pretty loud volume pretty much the whole day, but you can't hear it in the rooms, so it's ok. I would stay there again.

This place is a bit more expensive than other hostels due to the smaller rooms, but I would definately stay here again. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly, location is quite good, and the building itself has lots of personality- loved the murals. Only drawback was the bathrooms, which are limited, but the wait is never long. If you don't like communal showering consider this a plus as the bathrooms only accomodate one person at a time. Rooms have sinks too. Beware: narrow hallways & stairs can be treacherous!
