After spending 3 months at the Vic, I can honestly say that it is the cleanest, nicest hostel in London. The staff rock, and are all very helpful (even though half of them are French!). I have stayed in other hostels around Europe, and this is the nicest of the lot. Could have couches in the TV room, though Amy! Anyway, You will enjoy staying here, I promise!

The vic is an exelent place to stay when in London. I lived there for 6 months in 95. Yes it is a long time ago but I still have the highest regards for that place, and still think of it as home. When I moved in there it was only meant to be temporary. But I simply had too much fun there, so I ended up staying. These people really know how to party !!! And you do make friends for life. I am still in contact with people from the States, Australia and England. I still sometimes miss the friends and the times we had. Lazy sunday brunches, tuesdays at the slug, fridays going out all of us, saturday parties. -One is simply bound to make friends there,you are never alone and the people there do worry about you. It is simply the best place to meet people and make friends. It will become HOME. People keep comming back, I have been there twice since, and have meet up with a lot of the old timers, every single time. It was the best time in my life, do check it out, do not miss out on it.
