This is a fantastic place to stay in Paris. The hostel was less than a block away from the metro station at St. Paul, and about a 15-20 min. walk from Gare Lyon. It was by far one the cleanest places I stayed when I was in Europe. The rooms are pods of about 5 beds and they have their own showers (sometimes 2/room) and sinks with the bathroom down the hall. If you're planning on going to Paris, stay here.

Stayed only one night here in mid-June. Disappointed upon arrival, as actual costs for four persons was over 120 Euros, alot more than expected. To stay on budget, we walked 10 minutes to the Henry IV Hotel, near Ste. Chapelle and on the centrally-located Ille de l'cite. Costs under 50 Euros for a quad. If price is not a factor, this facility presents an peaceful respite from the frenetic, bustling city. Got alot of reading and writing accomplished in the courtyard as my companions recovered from jet lag.

I spent 6 days in Paris a week ago and I stayed at the Mije le fauconnier. The only bad thing I can say about this hostel was, it was hard to find. Besides that everything was great.

When I got there, the personels were great and helpful. They let me put my bag in the luggage room and the check-in was quick and easy. The lock-out is only from noon to 3 p.m. Yes the curfew is at 1 a.m. but if you wanna slept from a long day of walking, this is the place for you. There are no elevator, only steps for 4 floors, at the beggining it was a pain but after 5 days it was great exercise.

The breakfast wasn't bad but it consist of bread, bread and more bread. I'm canadian, I expected canadian beacon and eggs and potatoes, but after 2 days you get used to it. The coffe was amazing though.

The rooms and bathrooms were suprisingly clean. The sheets weren't bad, I brought a sleeping bag, I didn't even use it.

I adored it, I met so many people who were travelling alone too(Micki & Jason).

Over all, if you want a peaceful night, you should stay there. But if you're the partying kind, it might not be the place for you.

Mije Fauconnier is our second favorite spot to stay in Europe. We were there from 8/14-8/17. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast wasn't too bad either.

It's very close (5min. walk) from the St. Paul (metro 1) stop and is very close to a recreational spot on the river. Nice quaint private courtyard and internet on site. I recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Paris and wanting to stay in a central location.

MIJE, what ever that stands for, was very pleasant. Slightly expensive for a hostel, but worth it. 1 am curfew sucks but it is nice to sleep some times. While I was there a giantic school group came though and they were pretty annoying. I got the feeling MIJE was frequented by these groups. Oh well!

This was a very nice hostel when compared with others such as 3 ducks and Aloha. Rooms are clean, showers are in room, and staff is very friendly. If you are planning on just finding a nice quiet place, this is good for u. But if you are looking for a place to party, this is not for you. Security is great,Luggage room is monitored with cameras and is locked all the time so your bags are secured. I highly recommend
