this hostel is in a great location, right in the middle of the lovely marais district. the rooms are really nice and clean, as is the entire building. staff was very friendly, and i met some really fabulous people here. breakfast in the morning was a joy, as they have you sit with other people, so you get to know the other hostellers. all in all, a really great place to stay.

Breakfast was free and all-you-can-eat. The location is excellent. It is quiet, but you just need to walk for 5 minutes, you will arrive in a busy street where you can get everything from there. The staff were helpful and friendly. One thing about the hostel is that the building is a little old, and there is only one elevator for all three buildings. The rooms are clean. You cannot move into the room until 3:00PM. It might cause you a little inconvenience if you want to put your luggage in the room and get settled down on the first day you arrive because you have to wait till 3PM.

I came here on a class trip in April of 2001.

Absolutly great! Clean, secure, just wonderful.

Staff was nice, and as soon as I studdered my

broken French, they knew I spoke English and

helped me out! There's a few floors to this place,

but elevators help carry the lugage up.

Located a few blocks away from Notre Dame.

The metro is close by.

The atmosphere was great, but if you

are a party animal, you won't like it.

(Perfect for me!)

And oh yeah, the food was great too!

the only things wrong with this hostel is it is on the expensive side, and they have strict rules with long lockout periods between like noon and 5 or something, and i thinka midnight curfew. breadkfast was good though, and the location is nice, right by the metro and near many shops. the showers were in the room (three people to a room) and were warm and with good pressue. the rooms were very clean. one thing, you cannot room with a guy like you can in some hostels. so overall, not party central, but a nice clean place.

you can really enjoy your stay at paris here. it has a great atmosphere! there's a supermarket next door and the metro station is about two minutes to walk. you´re in the middle of the city and the rooms are nice. you´ve got your personal shower and lavabos. you have to be quiet at 10pm and in the afternoon you can´t be in your romms from 12am until 15.30pm and they close the door at 1am but that does'nt matter because you´d have to walk back because there's no metro. the breakfast is ok (advice: don´t drink hot chocolate!!!) but dinner is disgusting. the bed is grubby and in winter it's freezing, so take your warm sleeping bag with you. but your not in paris for sleeping ;-)
