This place is conveniently located near the train station, which makes it a good place to use as a base for the rest of teh coast. I stayed in the dorm rooms here, I met really cool people, we had the shower and a sink in our room. I was delighted to learn that we also got a fridge in our room. The beds are basic, the rooms are big though, and we had the luxury of locking our door. Its basically a good place to stay.

I've stayed there frequently over the years. Old and rather shabby building, but large clean rooms with (very) basic cooking facilities. Very popular with backpackers. The owner, Marc Servoles is very conscienctious and helpful and speaks excellent English.

I stayed there with with five of my other friends the summer of 2000. It was very pretty, we had the nice balconies that looked out over the street. We had a private bath, large and great. There were two queen beds, so the two couples slept there, and they provided two cots for the remaining to people. I think it was like 17-20$ per person. Very close to train station, further from beach. I definately recommend it. LARGE ROOM and BATH!
