I stayed in the 4-bed room which was HUGE...the only drawback was that the room was very chilly at night. Also, the bathrooms were quite nice and clean. The manager was a bit scatter-brained, but VERY friendly and helpful. Having free internet was awesome (but get up early if you don't want to wait in line!) too. It seems to be a bit of a party hostel (the common room is always filled with smoke ::cough, cough:: and drunk people), but if you want quiet you can go to your room, so it works out well for everyone. Only complaint I have is about the staff guy who kept hogging the internet to write personal e-mails when the staff had their own office computer AND it was obvious that customers were waiting.

Okay, so first of all a friend and I decided to go to Nuremburg one weekend during the Christmas Market without making any reservations or hostel plans. That could have been dangerous, seeing as most of the hotels in the city had been booked for weeks, but the owner of Lette'm Sleep made our stay really worth the trip. The rooms are basic, but fairly comfortable for the price, and there seemed to be plenty of hot water for showers and such. The bathrooms were small, but clean. The common room is indescribably funky, and when we were there they had a Christmas tree set up for the holidays. The staff is the real reason to go, though. The owner is glad to give directions to his favorite bars and restaurants, and usually always accessible for questions. There is free internet, and a kitchen with free tea and coffee. It was really crowded when we were there, but only uncomfortable one morning when a couple of German girls opened all the windows in the room at 8 in the morning (this is on a Sunday) because they wanted some fresh air. The location is great, right in the city wall and about 5 minutes from the train station. We also stayed in the HI Hostel up in the Castle, but this was by far the better deal for the money.
