This place is the Costco of Hostels. I give them credit for great advertising and marketing. But that is about it.

The place was full of kids who reminded me of sheep. The staff was not very helpfull at check in. Long walk to the rocky beach. With so many great taverna's on Corfu, why was the Pink Palace food so unappealing? Corfu is great as long as you do not get trapped at this place.

Unless of course, you have no game anyway then you will have a blast with all the other typical kids who are attracted to that place.

And if that is not enough, just find the scooter rental shop down the street who has about 100 photos of females showering in the pink palace. The day I saw that, was the day I checked out.

Take it from a REAL Cali beach boy, if you want parties stick to Ibiza, Ios, South Beach, or Crete.

If you are looking for an average drunk night, with an average crowd at an average spot then this is the place for you.

What can I say about the pink palace, Well if your looking for a party you'll find one here, if not, best look elsewhere. The scenery is absolutely beautiful from any room, and the rooms themselves were most likely the nicest I stayed in during my two month jont throughout europe. Only probablem I had with the place was the shifty, nearly all American frat-boy staff. A warning to the ladies the male staff likes to hang out at the Palladium bar and seems to search for the druckest girls possible at which point they will make their move. I heard numerous complaints from numerous ladies. Be warned defintitely stay away from a guy named Joe, he rents out the cars at the Pink Palace and doesn't know the meaning of the word "NO". But the Pink Palace is defintely a must, tons of fun and defintely beautiful. Chances are you may not have runs ins with the employed assholes, which otherwise I would have given five stars

If you listen to the anonymous review listed you would be a fool, in less of course your some sort of geeky excuse for a young adult. The pink palace is wonderful to say the least. The people here are fun and friendly. The room I stayed in had a beach view and although it was a ways up a hill the walk wasnt that bad. the rooms were heaven compaired to any other hostel I have ever stayed in. I intended to stay there a night or two and ended up staying for a week, it's hard to leave a place so perfect! If your looking for fun and the perfect tan this is the place.Take it from a Californian beach girl its the biggest party town I've been too.

First and foremost, Corfu is an island between two countries fraught with culture and ancient history and I'm betting everyone who travels Italy and Greece spends a great deal of time in museums, visiting monuments...etc. So The Pink Palace is an excellent break. Secondly you pay a VERY reasonable amount of money, seeing that you don't spend any more money throughout the day (breakfast and dinner included!)except for alcohol at the Palladium. Thirdly, it may be very commercial and american, but it must be said it is the hedonist's paradise. You meet a colossal amount of people, you can choose from various activities such as cliff jumping and scuba diving, and by the end of the night there's nothing more fun than sharing the events of the day with someone at the Palladium. Last but not least: love is in the air,and if you're looking for romance, you've got it. Chances are you find someone among the 500 people that stay there each night!! I can say that I'm in awe over the cultural marvels of Italy and Greece, the ruins of the Pelepponese, but come on! You can't be entirely bereft of hedonism. Summary: It's all about the fun stuff.

big fat and ugly -- and very impersonal.

If you are looking for a frat party in Greece this is the place for you and the rest of your ilk. This place does not deserve the one star I had to give it to post my review, and after you are attacked by the Pink Palace Police at the Corfu ferry dock you will soon understand. But if you decide to let these clowns stuff you in a supposedlu FREE taxi that takes you 20km away to the pink palace and you have no choice to stay at the Palace or PAY the driver to take you back to town!

The Palace is way too far up a STEEP hill from the beach, in fact you can hardly see the beach you are so far up the hill. Food is less than mediocre and drinks are terribly expensive. Accomodations are cramped and noisy. The seasonal palace crew are friendly if they are new, but the oldtimers and fulltime employees/owners are surly when you make requests. Watch out for the TABS they insist on running and the other juvenial games they play.

For a better Greek experience I suggest staying at a small family run resort or pension, my fav is near Pelikas.
