Pro's: location - temple bar is fantastic!; rooms are great - all linen provided and private bathrooms; very helpful and friendly staff; breakfast is free (toast and juice/ coffee); easy to find.

Con's: common room is full of smoke as it is the only place where people can smoke; bit pricier than other hostels in dublin.

Great little place with friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and a great location. Especially happy with the onsuite bathroom and lockable draw under the bed for anything valuable.

Highly recommendable.

Well What can I say to my fellow travelers! We spent four days in Temple Bar and had a whale of a time. The place is clean friendly and in the centre of Temple Bar. This was the third hostel visited by my friend and I in Dublin city, and I know if we come back to Dublin we will stay here. We Traveled from London not knowing what to expect of hostels but after a bit of seraching we were turly happy to stay in here. We were in a six person room with its own large bathroom then we managed to get a bright ensuite double room with a balcony!! looking out to the streets of Temple Bar,If you are looking for where it all happens then check out Barnacles!! It has the coolest people staying here young and old!

Excellent location, right smack in the middle of Temple Bar. Rooms are incredibly narrow and definitely on the cramped side (especially the 10-bed rooms) and bathroom conditions aren't the greatest (expect waits in the morning), but the hostel has good common spaces including a fairly large kitchen/dining area and a ski-lounge-like TV room. The staff is friendly, too, and the place is always full of rowdy Aussie long-termers. The best place to stay in Dublin, methinks.
