We stayed in B&B Rota because everything else was full...we didn't look hard enough. We stayed in a double that definitely was not worth what we paid. The renovations included a lightbulb sticking out of the wall and windows that would not close (Venice is cold in November). Plus there was a major mosquito problem, you notice this when you first walk in the room and see dead bugs everywhere on the walls, then spend most free minutes in the room trying to kill the things.

Next time I would be willing to pay more to stay at a better place than B&B Rota.

Rota was alright. I've stayed in better places for the $43 per person we spent for a double. Every night we battled mosquitos and had trouble sleeping. The rooms were at least clean and presentable. I don't know if the mosquitos are a problem on the rest of the island but for $86 per night I might look for another spot to sleep next time.
