Once you manage to attract the staff away from the pool table to let you in, this hostel will not let you down. It is very well situated with good access to all the major sights/night life etc. The rooms are basic but clean and warm (November/December visit). The breakfast is good and the bar/cafe is pleasant enough without being particularly comfortable.This was balanced, however, by some really good music in the evening. The staff are friendly and helpful although one appeared to be having a life crisis during my visit. Compares well with the hostels in Amsterdam and The Hague. I would have no problem staying there again and will hopefully return next year.
