We arrived at the hostel after travelling all night and to say we received a luke warm reception is an understatement. The room itself was very basic, but an OK size (6 beds). The bathrooms however were filthy. We checked the bathrooms again after they'd be 'cleaned' and they were still filthy. The breakfast is reasonable, but the attitude of the staff made us feel like we were on a very bad school camp. There's no lock out and it is close to the metro station and bus station. If you do want to stay in Lisbon there's a lovely pension around the corner that has dorm beds for 15 euros a night.

Great Hostel. The staff were friendly, had maps and the location is convenient being 30 seconds from the Metro. Cheap fast internet facilities nearby.

Showers were hot and clean. Beds comfortable and the rooms cozy @ 4 people to a room. The rooms all have big Lockers (bring your own lock) for your stuff and I had no concern about the security of my stuff while I was gone. The common area was a little weak though. Book exchange and extra lockers (for rent) for those whose trains leave after checkout, and a good but small bar on site. All and all this was a great hostel.

The only reason I didn´t give it 5 is because thier in house internet was down and there are no kitchen or laundry facilities.
