Positives - there are no bunks and only 4 beds to a reasonably large room; there is a balcony attached to each room on which you can dry your clothes; lockers are provided; very close to heaps of cafes & restaurants; no curfew.

Negatives - they had bed bugs when I visited in July 2003 (the bites are quite itchy for days afterwards); rooms are not particularly clean; quite a noisy area at night.

This is the best hostel to meet people I have ever been to. The common room and library/DVD rooms are great! There is no curfev and there is silence from 0:30 onwards which was well maintained(everybody went out after that). The place is not ultra clean though and the showers were pretty bad. The common room used be an open patio and the makeshift roof leaks during rain!

the people at Home were very nice but the rooms were sort of disgusting, and the showers were not cool either. The location was alright though.

This place was one of the best hostels I've been to. Tonnes of cool people in a cool common room, nice decor, good kitchen, everything pretty clean. I really have nothing to complain about, if only all hostels were like this - and aaron get over your homophobic discrimination.

My favorite hostel of all time. Lot's of cool friendly people although most of them are as rowdy as Australians and hardly any are Spanish. Great place to meet people and go out and party. The staff are really weird, but friendly (One of the staff members cooked my whole bag of lentils. I have no idea how he ate them all, because it was enough for about 50 people). The kitchen is fantastic with a lot of cooking utilities. This hostal couldn't be in a better location.

well we didn't actually stay in the one advertised here, but they sent us to the other home youth hostel just around the corner, and the people back at the original one told us it was just the same, but newer and better facilities. the common room is really cool, with dvd room, good music always playing, nice kitchen, and some cool people, including the staff which usually takes you out somewhere. but we were taken aback by the cocky english guy, but otherwise the french girl was unbelievably nice, and the canadian was chill. the rooms were just two beds each usually, at least thats what we got and most seemed to look like, so it really encourages you to go hang out in the kitchen or common room. the bathrooms are the cleanest ones i saw in two months of backpacking, although one did flood while i was showering.....great place, a must, although probably reserve ahead

Really you'd be better avoiding this place like the plague. Only hostel Ive ever been to where I was evicted owing to the (Weird and gay) supervisor double-booking the entire hostel?! Immensely smug and arrogant unhelpful staff, tiny kitchen consisting of one hob and a worktop for some fifty people, tiny common area. Admittedly it was clean.

Stayed in this hostel for 2 nights and very much enjoyed my stay. Staff speaks english if you don´t speak Spanish. No lockout. Quiet hours are set reasonably and enforced. Lounge is comfy and a great place to meet other people staying in the hostel before going out at night. I had a room with a balcony which made it very comfortable. Room was good sized, and no bunks! Bathrooms were clean and large enough. Also loved the decore. No white walls, all the walls were brightly colored. Good location, I felt very safe wandering to it at night. Close to a supermarket and a fresh food market that was realy cheap. Had a great kitchen, stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. Over all a wonderful experience staying here.

this place is so supercute and it's set up rather well, with a great common area, kitchen, a dvd player, supercool staff, comfortable room, bathroom on each floor, rather nice. plus it was fairly affordable and a great location. this place was so great, it makes me want to go back just remembering it now.
