Pros:
Great facilitys, great people, great rooms
Cons:
bit of a walk to the surf shops but if you dont have a car your going to have problems in tofino

I've stayed at this hostel on two occasions and both have been awesome experiences. They have a great kitchen area and though not central a great location. they also have facility's especially for washing and securing surf and ocean gear and fully loaded kitchen. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.

The hostel is spacious, comfortable and clean. The atmosphere was very chilled, and there were many rooms to settle in, to suit your mood. The view over the water was lovely, but I did hear that you pay more for a room that has a view?!?!?! Come on! It's a hostel, not a hotel! Unfortunately, some of my travel companions had a bad experience with the service provided, and the attitude of one of the girls in reception, and the manager (they weren't dealt with diplomatically, that's for sure). Some of the management of guests who had attended Karaoke night was a bit militant as well, however, that said, I encountered no personal problems with the staff. Overall, the hostel has everything you need to make your stay pleasant.
