I enjoyed my stay at this hostel - it was a very friendly place and had a great vibe! The only downside really was the location - personally I didn't feel all that safe when around the area in the evening and on my own. No problems though, and I guess it adds a bit of character! It's also a little way out of town, but it's not far to walk and there is also a bus going by regularly. This hostel has a great common room and kitchen - there's lots of opportunities to meet other people which is good. The internet was also free when I stayed there, which was an added bonus! Linen was provided, which was handy, although it could be improved - the dorms are also tightly packed with beds, however the hostel was not full when I was there. There are also good facilities and nice clean showers. Overall a good place to stay for a few nights!

I really liked this hostel. The owners knew me by name within a day. There's a kitchen and common room to meet people. They even had a free BBQ while I was there. There's also internet and laundry. It's a bit of a walk from the waterfront, but not too bad. It's the sort of relaxed hostel where you'll meet backpackers, not school groups.
