The Village Inn is one of the best located hostels in New York. It is in the East Village near Astor Place and St Marks Place and within walking distance to most sights in Greenwich Village, East Village, Soho and the Lower East Side. It is a clean and well-maintained hostel and accommodation is in well-presented dormitories, most with en suite bathrooms. Amenities include a lounge with a TV and internet access ($2 for 20 minutes; free Wi-Fi) plus basic kitchen facilities (just two hobs, a microwave, toaster and fridge).
