Like all NY hostels, this place was a little crowded (especially at end of summer camp season) but staff were friendly & professional, facilities were good & the place was clean.
Was a little nervous about the neighbourhood (lots of people hanging out on street) but realised that the area was actually pretty friendly and soon felt comfortable out and about on my own. Close to subway. Also close to central park which is great for a walk.
