BUG Review
This small place has plain rooms and old bathrooms lacking maintenance. But it is cheerful and it has plenty of character, with a common area filled with sofas, a television and free internet. The kitchen is small but adequate, and a movie room with free popcorn machine makes for fun nights in. Staff are helpful and happy and they provide free breakfast and Wi-Fi access. The social aspect may not be as good as other Venice hostels, but it has potential, and the restaurants across the street are popular and lively. Besides being in dire need of a revamping, it is a cosy alternative accommodation.

I would not stay here again. Room over priced with so many beds cramped in. Owner must care about money not travelers. No deal, bed cost just under hotel in room with 12 people. one room was a closet with a bed pushed in for more money called it a special room...a room for dummies. 1$ copies and worn dishes, broken T.V. staff only thing make the stay fun bought beer and sang, made us feel at home.

We made a booking for 5 people in a 6-bed dorm. However when we arrived, we realised we were put in a 16-bed dorm after payment was made. We spoke to the receptionist but our reply was that there was no instructions from his boss that we were supposed to be in a 6-bed dorm. However our confirmation printout showed that we were supposed to be in a 6-bed dorm. The response from the receptionist was there was nothing he could do. We realised we were not the only ones. We felt cheated hence we wanted to get a refund and stay at another place instead of the hostel. The recep said there was a cancellation policy. But we did not get a fair deal in the first place. And the manager was unwilling to resolve the problem at all. We left the building totally disgusted and disappointed. I have stayed in many hostels before and this is the first one that i am totally disappointed with.
