The HI Point Loma hostel is on a residential street in suburban Point Loma close to a supermarket. It has a big fully-equipped kitchen, a dining room with a piano, a comfortable TV lounge and a courtyard with table tennis, barbecue and hammocks. Internet access ($4 per hour) is available and there is free wireless internet. Its location in the suburbs (and under a flight path) isn’t as nice as the beach and downtown hostels.
