Globetrotters Inn is above a Thai restaurant near Union Square and Powell BART/MUNI Metro station. It is a clean hostel that is nicer inside than you would expect looking from the street. It’s a small hostel with the usual TV lounge plus a nice small kitchen with a dining area. There is free internet access including wireless.
