Sudamerika is located right in the central area, close to Av. 9 de Julio and Av. de Mayo. If you dare take the 86 bus from the airport (do this only once for the sake of experiencing the surreal journey), it will drop you almost on the front door. Doubles are fairly spacious, clean and include a small TV. Staff is helpful if not overtly friendly. Internet (four stations) is free. On the negative side, breakfast is poor, consisting of two (very) plain medialunas (croissants) and coffee/milk - I've heard this is typical in Buenos Aires. I had one problem when paying: the credit card machine was not working and I had to pay with dollars, which they converted using a very low rate. I felt they should use the official rate since it was their mistake (not being able to take credit cards as promised). By the way, double rooms cost A$ 110 in the high season. Overall, it is a good choice.
