Like sleeping in a subterranean office block!, July 5, 2006

Mainly the toilets that as I have since found out...get worse in other parts of China! The hostel staff were nice enough, they diddnt speak much English, but then I cant complain I dont speak any Mandarin! It really is like sleeping in an office block! Corridors and rooms were very clean, showers were ok too...just the bathrooms.

They offer a laundry service and internet which all you pay extra for but are good...as are the great wall tours. Its attatched to the expensive Oriental Plaza shopping mall and only a short walk from Tiananmen etc..

Yep, I would stay again, its cheap and clean enough.
