Arrived at Marlborough hostel after travelling 18 Hours. Having already paid a deposit for 2 rooms, Staff could speak no english but it was clear they had overbooked, leaving us standing around for an hour whilst they found alternative rooms in another building. No apologies or compensation offered. We also had to move rooms so they could accomodate us. The beds are rock hard and we have stayed in quite a lot of hostel's around the world. It's noisy as your facing a main rd and the other guests are by no means quiet. No towels provided or free airport shuttle as other websites suggest they offer. Severly lacking in atmosphere reminded me of school. We were asked four times for our room key on departure twice by the same person whom we'd already given the key to and who had shown other potential victims our room whilst we were standing outside it. OK for no frills bed for the night, just about. Good location though.
