I was at Sunagay GuestHouse in March 2007 and stayed for 2 weeks. The rooms have attached bathrooms with plenty of hot and cold water. Nice beautiful view of the Nathula pass and Gangtok from the balcony. Its owned by a friendly Tibetan family. They have a vegetable garden where our meals come from, so you know how fresh it is. They also own 7 cows, so our milk, yogurt and cheese are all from the property. Its a great place to relax and detox yourself after a harrowing trip to the rest of India. The food is all organic fresh from the gardens and cowshed. Lovely people. Pema has a perofessional degree in food production and she worked at the Hyatt Regency. She is also the owner and prespares all the meals. I would reccomend Sungay Rumtek Guest House to anyone looking for serenity, good food, clean rooms and relaxation. I infact plan to go back with my family next fall.
