The people who wrote the website for Elements would make brilliant politicians.

The website lists many facilities, most of which don't actually exist. For example :-

The website claims a self catering kitchen. If you have any plans to offset the high cost of the hostel by preparing your own food, forget it. There is no cooker, kettle or microwave and the fridges are turned off at all times. The kitchen facilities amount to a few bits of crockery and a table and chairs.

The website claims to have a washing machine and tumble drier. This is true, but your not allowed to do your wn laundry. The staff wash it and charge 15 rupees per item. They don't ever use the drier, it is hung out to dry and returned to you unironed.

The website also claims that there is a payphone - there isn't. The nearest phone is in a call centre about five minutes walk away.

The free breakfast advertised on the website does not actually exist.

The only internet access is the reception computer, so you can only use it during quiet times and the staff member on duty charges what they like. The website shows a lounge with computers, but I don't know where that was taken.

The website claims a central location, but when you get there you find out that the temple, city centre etc. are 5 km away, requiring yet more expense for rickshaws. Few drivers know where it is, so you get charged more or have to direct them yourself, without a map.

I reserved a bed in a four bedded female dorm but got a 6 bedded mixed dorm.

Considering a dorm bed here costs as much as a private room in a midrange hotel, I really don't think this is worth it.
