this place is basically ok, but the journey too & from mabul & sipadan is over an hour eachway which makes staying on mabul in another backpacker operation much easier than staying on the mainland in semporna.plus this company is not malay which makes getting permits for sipadan hard, or even a long wait.we met alot of people who stayed with junkie & didn't think the operation ran very smoothly. they also said junkie staff were all new & inexperienced with a certain arrogance they didn't like.we stayed at uncle changs mabul backpackers with all meals/drinks included & dived the local reef & sipadan with ease. not waiting in boat between dives etc.they are very friendly & flexible with divingwww.sipadanbackpackers.com there website for uncle chang
