Basic facilities, well located with friendly & informative proprietor.Value for $!, July 12, 2007

Pros: Good value.It is located just off the main waterfront area, easy access to almost everything.
Cons: The walls needed some work done.

Nestled at the edge of Jalan Tabuan, this hostel is within walking distance to most places of interest and conveniences. Physically, it was not much to look at but it was very good value for $. There is a common kitchen cum lounge room where one can watch tv. Also, an upper deck where you can shoot breeze and watch the sunrise. A simple breakfast of toast, accompanied with the local jam & margarine, coffee & tea is provided.It was sufficient to get the day going. The people were friendly enough and the hostel experience was good overall. Definitely worth going back.
