The hostel features a TV lounge with a log fire and a small kitchen. It's off the main backpackers' trail and subsequently the hostel has a different clientele to the average coastal hostel, which means that the atmosphere can feel a bit dead. First exterior impression was of overgrown garden, broken exterior furniture,etc. Apart from when we rang the bell we never saw the manageress. Our sheets were torn and the curtain which was v old was torn and hung down. One shower had obviously not worked nor been repaired for some time- bone dry. The kitchen facilities were limited and the T towels were never replaced.
