BUG review
Snowy Mountain Backpackers is a very nice hostel right in the town centre. It doesn't have a lot of facilities but there is the usual internet access, laundry, kitchen and TV lounge and the hostel is very clean and well maintained.

We stayed at this backpacker about 3 years ago during the ski season, and found it expensive (which is common during the ski season). It was quite modern and clean, BUT the so called double room we stayed in was quite small, and the room are adjoining the common are/kitchen, so it always fairly noisy. The staff arent the friendliest either. If there were alot more backpackers in Jindy then Im sure I would stayed somewhere else...(mostly for the price, I would expect larger rooms etc)

We visited this hostel in January and thought the price was excellent (only $70 for the five of us in a family room) and found it modern, clean and pleasant with a great kitchen/dining/tv area. We got free linen and the staff member was helpful. The problem with the hostel was its designed for winter and it was horribly hot when we visited. Even after taking the single fan from the common room we all had to go our separate ways to sleep (I slept outside on the balcony of a recreation room). The staff member was helpful, moving us downstairs and bringing us the office fan but unfortunately I still had to sleep outside to get some rest. Still its in great condition and the prices are reasonable, just don't visit in the middle of summer!
