BUG review
This hostel is in a large caravan park with a wide range of accommodation options. The dorms are very dated with paisley laminate flooring and curtains. The beds are plain and the air-conditioning costs $1 for three hours. The bathrooms are very well maintained and clean, though, and they have hairdryers. The kitchen is also clean and well equipped. This hostel caters mostly to workers, and in the off season it is pretty boring here. They have a nice swimming pool and a bar. Guest have free use of bikes, fishing gear, kayaks and tennis rackets.

About BUG's hostel reviews
This hostel was visited by one of BUG's team of hostel inspectors who write independent reviews and assess a star rating based on an objective assessment criteria.

We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.

This must be the only backpackers where you get a television and airconditioning IN the double and twin rooms, and a free barbie on Thursday nights. What a backpackers dream!

The place has indoor and outdoor hangout areas, a pool and a courtesy bus that will whiz you to the bus stop or train station on demand. When I was there the owner even sent me away with a lolly bag.

I loved this place because you got your comforts and you got them cheap. The rooms are clean as a whistle and after spending six months in a tent it was a very nice change. If you're still into camping though there is a spot right near the kitchen where you can pull up your camper.
