BUG review
Codge Lodge This hostel is in a large tropical blue Queenslander-style house in a good location. For a worker’s hostel, and for Innisfail, it is one of the best. It is under new management this year, and has seen improvements to some of its facilities. There are wide verandas to lounge on, a huge swimming pool, several small but clean kitchens and good security. The bathrooms are kept spotlessly clean, and they offer free internet, washing machines and entertainment areas. The rooms are plain with new mattresses, and while some become quite cluttered, they are still not bad for a worker’s hostel. It is the best choice for independent travellers in Innisfail.

you only find yourself in innisfail to pick fruit which generally means you've no cash, which in turn means you've no choice! but believe me you do!!innisfail has about 3-4 workers hostels and codge lodge is the only one to stay in. we were there for 6 weeks and lived very happily and comfortably in the lodge while other poor souls trapped in either of the other 2 dumps would try in vain to get a bed in our place. dont believe the hype from the other places about not getting work in codge lodge, you will. you also get a comfortable bed, some twin or double rooms ,a nice balcony to "unwind" after work and ,when we there, a nice group of people very relivied to be where they were rather then being holed up in one of the concentration camps down the road!!

be sure to check out "cocunuts" beach its beautiful, ask george he'll drive you!!
