BUG review
This is the quietest hostel in Rainbow Beach. The dorms are cared for and immaculate. They offer a wide range of facilities including a swimming pool, small kitchen, free body boards, free breakfast and free barbecues on Wednesdays. The hostel organises lots of tours and also has didgeridoo and boomerang making classes. It may not be the flashiest place on the block, but it still has a high standard of accommodation and keeps its guests comfortable.

Great staff, nice room (we stayed in double room, which means an apartment with two bedrooms), bathroom, clean kitchen. Free movie. But unbelievably hot in the room (small window) a we've never saw (and felt) so many moskitos!!!

Before and after our Fraser island trip we stayed here. The hostel is only small but when filled with the right people is so much fun!! It is very relaxed and a happy little hostel with nice staff. (We had 2 Irish girls on reception who were brilliant!) The kitchen isnt huge, neither is the TV room, but hey, it still gets my vote as being a nice place to stay. If you stay here, read the 'TIPS' book, it was full of funny stories and great tips for travel in OZ from fellow BP's. Enjoy!
Well worth staying a couple of days 30 December 2006
Pros:
Relaxed & friendly - excellent value for money
Cons:
Not too much to do on a rainy day other than watch DVDs

I was recommended Pippies and I was not disappointed. A mix of accomodatitions from rooms to cabins and even tents if they are full. Free tea/coffee , and breakfast (cereal/toast). Plenty of space to relax - hammocks if you wish. Very laid back place that is perfect to stay a few days if you have been traveling a lot. Don't miss going to the Carlo sandblow - recommend going up there after 4pm on a sunny afternoon. The views of the sandblow and the coastline are superb at that time due to the position of the sun. Didn't do the Fraser trip from there but I was impressed with how the 2 groups who did go when I was there were looked after.
Dont stay with the rest when u can stay with the Best!! 28 August 2006
