BUG review
This hostel is above a bar/restaurant in an old hotel. It is severely poorly maintained and has barely any facilities. The kitchen is worthless and unclean, the common room consists of a couple of old ripped couches and the bathrooms are simply disgusting. Dorms are also dated, dreary and messy. It is cheap, but be warned that you get what you pay for.

About BUG's hostel reviews

We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.

This place does not want non Australians, I did not feel welcome and was threatend by the manager "Mick". He said ; "if anything goes missing he will come and get me". I was the only pommy there. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there, It is dirty and dark at night and has a hostile unwelcome atmosphere (depressing).
