BUG review
The backpackers' accommodation at the William Creek Hotel consists of pre-fabricated units with old beds. There aren't any communal facilities other than the pub, which is where most people staying here spend all their time.
About BUG's hostel reviews
This hostel was visited by one of BUG's team of hostel inspectors who write independent reviews and assess a star rating based on an objective assessment criteria.
We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.

You have to see and to feel the character and wild charm of the William Creek Hotel, with his outstanding flair, the seclusion from the world and the lovely people (even the visitors are very friendly). When you like to see Australia, it is a must to see the Hotel, "Caravan Park" "Camping ground", old rockets, "Parking Meter (for RFDS donation)" and you have to try the excellent food. I have to give the Kitchen and the Hotel with everything around 5 Stars (REAL 5 STARS). I have been there very often in the last 22 years and the new owners with there cook are the best of the best.
