BUG review
Forest House Backpackers is in an old house close to the town centre. Although relatively basic, it is kept neat and tidy with newly renovated bathrooms. Amenities are limited to a cosy lounge with a fireplace plus a small kitchen.

About BUG's hostel reviews
This hostel was visited by one of BUG's team of hostel inspectors who write independent reviews and assess a star rating based on an objective assessment criteria.

We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.

Geeveston Forest House is close to Tahune Airwalk and so many other attractions, if you love walking and nature this is the place to be. After a day exploring its nice to come back to a cosy, clean place (love that woodfire and DVD player great for relaxing) and quiet - but not too quiet, there is always something going on if you want to get involved - great restaurants in nearby Geeveston and also the RSL club is a good place for a drink and cheap food.
