BUG review
This functional hostel opposite the waterfront has accommodation in en suite units. There is a kitchen plus a common room with an old TV and internet access. Outside there is a barbecue area and a swimming pool. The beds are new but some bathrooms and the kitchen could be better maintained. The hostel is nothing flash, but it is still the best option in Lakes Entrance.

I thought this hostel was brilliant. It's reasonably close to everything (including the foot bridge that takes you across to 90 mile beach), it has a pool (heated I might add), the common room is excellent with comfy couches and a little area outside where you can sit. The kitchen is big enough for the size of the hostel - never any lines - and actually has pots with handles and all the cooking utensils you could ever dream of. Outside there are a few barbeques around. There's a laundry with a few washing machines and dryers and also a laundry tub (if you're feeling a little bit poor) and a couple of washing lines outside. The actual accomodation is nice aswell. The dorms sleep six which is nice and small ... and all this for only $17 a night (and that was without a YHA card!!!!). If you're arriving on a weekend or during the school holidays it would probably be an idea to make a booking coz Lakes Entrance is quite popular with the Melbourne crowd.

Clean and neat but for same price or less you can get better accommodation in the area. No towels provided.Check other motels first.
