BUG review
Pint on Punt is a brilliant English-style pub on St Kilda Junction. The accommodation is fairly basic and the amenities are limited to a small kitchen and TV lounge upstairs. It is basically just some rooms above a pub, but what a pub! Pint on Punt caters mostly to travellers on a working holiday who stay here long-term.

I am surprised to see so much enthusiasm for this place, as my experience was not so great. The dorms and bathrooms were ok, but the kitchen was incredibly tiny with very little by way of utensils, etc. Apart from a small TV room, there were no communal facilities, which left you with the pub. While you got a discount on food and stuff, I think the pub is overrated. Most of the staff were ok, but one or two of the barmaids were particularly unfriendly. I tended to spend more time in the pubs on Fitzroy Street or Chapel Street, which were much friendlier and livelier.

Staff are very friendly and the hostel is clean. Kitchen is extremely small though-probably to encourage you to eat in the bar downstairs! Would recommend asking for a room on the 2nd floor as the ones on the first have the bar directly below them.Located 100 metres from St Kilda Junction tramstop so good for transport.
