BUG review
This badly-maintained hostel is neither clean nor charming and travellers reportedly escape the place after their first night. But the atmosphere is quite good among the long-term guests, and some of the veterans apparently find it hard to leave. A guest noted that it’s a good place if you’re up for saving money, as the house is far away from the town centre and there isn’t anywhere near the hostel to spend money. Facilities include an acceptable kitchen, a laundry, a television room, internet access and neat little soccer pitch. The outdoor area is furnished with old but comfy seats.
About BUG's hostel reviews
This hostel was visited by one of BUG's team of hostel inspectors who write independent reviews and assess a star rating based on an objective assessment criteria.
We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.

Please dont ever go here!!!!
We arrived after a 17hr bus trip from Sydney to be told they didnt have room for us!!! They were taking there time to sort somethinelse so we left and managed to get in somewhere else!!
The place where you live is a wooden and matel shack, the toiets and showers are outside!!! The whole time we were there all we could here were people moaning about there pay being wrong etc!!!! One guy wasnt going to work until he got paid!!!
I wasnt expecting the hostel to be up to much but i dont know why they are alowd to put people in there to live and i dont know why people stay there!!!
DONT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, what a change in this place! I have been here previously and was surprised to find a new 'occupier', replacing Stephy. The atmosphere has changed and no longer has the warmth, friendliness and fun factor.
I wouldnt recommend this to anyone and James appears to be running his own profit making business, through the supply of hard workers to the grape industry. Pay is limited and often late.
This place is in the middle of nowhere and has lost its little oasis, which was previously supplied by our missing friend.
Pros:
Carlton Draught, Hooter, Crackwhores
Cons:
No Carlton Draught, Sundays...boring

Oh my god, what have we let ourselves in for, is the 1st thought, but give it a week and thats it you're hooked. Was amazed at how quick we settled in and its all because of everyone else there. All in the same boat and knew we had to make our own good time and thats exactly what we did. So shame on all those dry arses who were too uptight to try have a good time with the "Juicy". Thers not many places i get upset leaving, even home! Fire and Ice rules!
Pros:
None
Cons:
If you are stupid You'll find out when you get there
