BUG review
This very clean and well maintained hostel offers the highest standard of backpackers' accommodation in Mildura. Facilities include a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining area with a big TV plus an outdoor area with barbecue and table tennis. It is in a relatively charmless concrete building a short walk from the centre of town.

Great backpacker, well kept, clean & new.
3 January 2008

Pros: The people are great and facilities are A1.
Cons: The place could do with a bit of colour, more stuff to make it feel more homely.

I stayed at Astra Backpackers a couple of months. They have a great, organised setup there. Lounge and kitchen areas are well seperate from the rooms so you can always get a good nights sleep before work the next day. The owners are cool to chat with and don't even mind me waking them up if I need something
