BUG review
Port Fairy’s youth hostel is in an historic building that was originally built for one of the town's founders. The hostel has a large fully-equipped kitchen; a games room with a pool table; a cosy lounge with a fireplace, a TV and internet access including Wi-Fi ($6 per hour). There is also a small courtyard barbecue area and a backyard with a herb garden.

Our stay in Port Fairy hostel was an enjoyable end to the Great Ocean road. We stayed one night, and the staff were very helpful in advising us of the best places to eat etc.

The facilities were fine, a big kitchen, large games room with big TV. Similar to your usual hostels.

To get to the rooms (we were in the Barn) you have to go outside across a courtyard. Our rooms were very small, the rooms were as long as the bunk beds, and with only about a meter inbetween. Also, the rooms are seperated by partition walls that don`t go up to the ceiling of the barn.

It was a good nights sleep, and as long as there aren`t too many bags on the floor then its OK.

Overall a nice place to stay

Very nice and old hostel in historical town. Has a nice relaxing room with fire place to warm up during evenings in the winter.

Feels like home!
