My first impressions of this hostel were good as when I booked in I was given a map of the area and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I was here in June and there was a great log fire burning to keep in the warmth. My room was very nice and clean and the kitchen facilities were excellent also free breakfast. Good place to meet other backpackers as well. If you are coming to Albany its a good place to stay
