BUG review
Pillows Travellers Lodge is a transformed motel set around a garden courtyard. The years show on the outside of the lodge, painted in a pale yellow and blue, but inside the rooms are surprisingly spic and span and nicely maintained. There’s a plain common room with TV and a small fully-equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities and internet access (on one computer) are available. Depending on how you look at it, Pillows is either the last backpackers on the Hibiscus Coast Highway before returning to Auckland or the first escaping from it, so it can make for a convenient stopping point.
