BUG review
Tauranga Central Backpackers is right in the city centre, close to the visitor information centre, and the hostel has an urban feel to it. There are many coin-operated internet PCs near the entrance. The basic common room has mismatched furniture, a pool table, table tennis and a decent-sized TV. Rooms are basic and run around an inner ring in the building; hence, no windows. Some have small skylights, but if you’re really into natural light this might be a problem for you. It’s actually something of a trade-off, because the rest of the facilities are open and sunny. The owner is quite friendly.

The staff are really friendly, but the place just isnt that nice. the rooms have no windows. the toilet doors dont close. the kitchen is crowded. the sitting area is really bad, computers are ancient and at $2 for 15mins, not worth it! clean sheets included in price is only bonus..oh and its really central. I'v stayed in tons of hostels and this place doesnt do it 4 me..
