BUG review
This hostel is in an old white house with handsome furniture and tasteful décor. The kitchen is light, airy and clean; same with the bathrooms (which have hairdryers). There are only a few dorm beds, but they are clean and spacious. There is a sitting room with log fire, TV, piano and lots of books; a quiet dining area with internet access ($4 per hour) and outside there are flower gardens and a large veranda with chairs and tables. Guests have free use of bicycles and they organise kayaking trips. It has a very quiet atmosphere.

About BUG's hostel reviews
This hostel was visited by one of BUG's team of hostel inspectors who write independent reviews and assess a star rating based on an objective assessment criteria.

We show up unannounced at hostels to write honest and unbiased hostel reviews. Many of BUG's reviews now feature videos and photo slideshows. BUG never receives payment for listing any establishment and BUG's researchers never accept free accommodation in exchange for favourable reviews.
