BUG review
This hostel consists of a large main building and several smaller ones. The main building has a huge modern fully-equipped kitchen, two lounges with internet access and immaculately clean dorms with wooden bunks and calming colours. The other smaller building has a cosy lounge and a smaller but more colourful kitchen and nice bathrooms. There are log fires and under-floor heating as well as electric blankets throughout. They also offer self-contained cottages, which are adorable and well maintained. This is an excellent hostel with friendly staff.

this is a beautiful spot to visit and I would recommend staying at mountain house. we got lots of info on walks that suited us and amazingly they remembered our names and treated us like individuals.

We stayed in one of the houses up the hill. It was really nice; basically a 3-bedroomed house with lovely kitchen/communal area and a lovely cosy open fire for those cold evenings. Plenty of books and games and nice garden to chill in. Very friendly proprietors.
