BUG review
The generic name belies the quirky character of this hostel. Hastings Backpackers is yet another working hostel, but it’s got some personality – brightly painted dorms, a cute covered courtyard with loads of fruit trees (mandarin, grapefruit, lemon, apricot and plum). There’s a decent kitchen and a common room with TV, table tennis, a dart board and games. It’s definitely a place to find work, but at least there’s some colour and charm to it.
